One of the things that I have ALWAYS wanted to do was take an adults only vacation somewhere. I am so blessed to be married to someone that I love as much as I do and enjoy being with like I do. Truth be told, I never get tired of Jay, and a vacation together with no kids sounded amazing! We got married when I was 20 and then we went right into having kids and then of course I got sick soon after. So, never in 20+ years of being married did we do a trip with no kids! So, we went to Panama City Beach with our best friends for a week. Seven days of nothing. No responsibilities at all. Peacefulness, beautiful scenery, drinks, and nothing important to do. Just time with Jay and our besties.
It was absolute heaven.
I was reminded almost every day, sometimes many times a day how blessed I am to have had this experience. How I get to live this life every day. How I am still here to be a part of all of this.
One thing I have always wanted to do was beach photos. It was an amazing experience! We got to just be ourselves on this beautiful beach and have photos taken of us to remember the week. It was glorious.
God is so good to me.
